Kim Victoria Cattrall, born on the 21st of August, 1956 in London She is an British and Canadian actress from Canada and the UK. Her best-known character was as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for the Best Supporting Female actress. The same character was played by her in the film Sex and the City 2008 and Sex and the City 2 2010. She is also known for her leading roles in 1980s movies Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall's role in the HBO TV comedy Sex & the City is her most memorable role. Cattrall, a noted actress, has claimed her performance in the role of Samantha Jones as a career-defining role. Before beginning her career in acting as a model, she worked as Sweden's fashion model. She won the Miss Sweden competition. After her role as a character in Blood Alley, she won the Golden Globe Award in the category of the Most Promising Youngcomer.
